Niko Michalopoulos is a composer, pianist, activist, teacher and educational consultant. He has written music for a variety of groups including Bebek, Sarmust, and now as a soloist and in collaboration with artists in the Washington DC area. He is author of the book Six then Five - An Armenian Diaspora Story which is set to be published in 2026 by Legacy Book Press. He is an independent school educator and Humanities department chair in Washington DC and also works as an educational consultant working with schools to foster conversation about challenging topics as well as education on Palestine, Israel and the broader Middle East.
